Alcoholics Anonymous

Hi. My name is Caragata and I am NOT an alcoholic.

Definition of a drunk:
a) Intoxicated with alcoholic liquor to the point of impairment of physical and mental faculties.
b) Caused or influenced by intoxication.

Definition of an alcoholic:
A person who drinks alcoholic substances habitually and to excess or who suffers from alcoholism.

I am none of the above because:
~I am not intoxicated with liquor
~My physical and mental “faculties” are just fine!
~I drink occasionally
~I can hold my liquor
~I have never gotten drunk or even close to getting drunk
~I don’t drink with the intention of getting drunk
~I’m the designated driver (I don’t trust anyone else to drive me home)
~I like the taste of liquor and not the feeling I get from it
